Filters, colors, etc etc.

Take 1

Take 2

And Take 3, with a layer of coins added. Highlights her face better as a main focal point.

New guy - edited

So I tried to go back in and refine the new design I did yesterday. It's got a good sense of hierarchy I think but the problem still remains that there are two main focal points. Put more along the bottom so as not to have the image floating.

Edited oldie & a new guy

I went back and messed with an earlier montage today and this is what came out of it...

It's definitely got a hierarchy that Ed wants me to put in my piece. Success!

Then there's this new one with her face on the coins. I'm not sure it's totally resolved yet because there are two main focal points. I'll keep working on it.

New favorite

I took what I did yesterday, grabbed the pink woman layer and put an outer glow on that. I think it's the most successful so far.

At this point...

At this point I've gotten some good ideas going, I think. Here are some more. Since she's a beggar I wanted to go with the theme of money just barely being there. And I've got a cloth in front of her eyes to symbolize blindness. Not sure if the image is destroyed enough, though.

And below is a slightly more destroyed image but the main photo/face/sign is still there.

And here's another one I've been working on, again going with the whole money theme. And 'scratching out' her eyesight via brushes. I decided to pattern the image of the woman.

And the same image below, lightened and less muddy...

The image wraps around the coins, making her and her blindness a part of them.

This is a rendering of an earlier design where the eyes are cut out in a horizontal bar across the page. I added text and her mouth to the bar, as well as the money concept. I kept the cloth covering her.

But I think it's a tad too dark so here's a lightened one below (with a different quote)...

I'm hoping the "Blind" comes through at the bottom.

Scanograms

Not entirely sure why my scanner wouldn't create clear, clean scanograms but the objects were crisp enough to use. Will try to rescan items tonight.

Four Montages

Montage with pattern & scanogram

This is another one with a strong pattern overlay and two scanograms.
